EU AI Act Compliance

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Boarda integrates generative AI features (sticky generation, voice transcription, slide synthesis). This page summarizes how we comply with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 — the EU AI Act.

Risk classification

Boarda's AI features are categorized as limited-risk general-purpose AI applications. We do not deploy AI for biometric identification, social scoring, emotion recognition in workplaces, or other prohibited or high-risk use cases under Article 5.

Transparency

  • AI-generated content is clearly labeled in the interface.
  • You are informed when interacting with AI features (assistant, voice→stickies, slide generation).
  • We disclose the foundational model providers we route through (Google Gemini, OpenAI GPT family) via our AI gateway.

Human oversight

All AI output appears as editable content on your board. You always have final say — AI never auto-publishes, auto-shares, or takes irreversible actions.

Data & training

Your board content is not used to train foundation models. Prompts and outputs are processed solely to deliver the requested feature.
